The introduction provides an overview of the following topics:

Methodology for Identifying a problem and proposing a solution

Jobs in research and development: Research and development in the industry, research in academia,

Technology Readiness Levels
-
Funding schemes for research and innovation: regional, national, European, international
-
Societal, industrial and human perspectives related to the development of CPS2
-
Ethical issues related to the growing presence of CPS2 in everyday life
-
Key applications of cyber-physical and social systems will be discussed and presented at seminars by specialized speakers, from the industrial or academic world.
You will study some of the most recent reports regarding one or another area of CPS2, and summarize their findings as a short note (2 pages) and a presentation.
